In an age where the customer experience is quickly overtaking price and product as the primary brand differentiator, designers and developers have to work harder to create smarter digital products and services. This talk will explore how emerging technology (device sensors, big data, artificial intelligence, etc.) allows us to build radically better, seamless, and – ultimately – successful user experiences.
Nick van der Linde
As a principal interaction designer, Nick leads design teams at Dutch digital agency Mirabeau. We design and develop digital products and services for a clients large and small, including KLM-Air France, ING and Transavia. In his work for a variety of clients and industries, Nick has spent the last 8 years been bridging disciplines across business, design and technology. Before Mirabeau, he worked at Edenspiekermann in Amsterdam and Berlin.
Aside from consulting with clients, Nick enjoys speaking and writing about user experience design and the web. He has previously been invited to speak at UX Poland, the Dutch Design Week, and UX Scotland. He also frequently coaches and mentors design students at the Amsterdam and Utrecht Universities for Applied Sciences.
