More Information

Crowdfunding is a way of financing (funding) of a project with a clear objective by utilizing a large number of investors (crowd). The funding often comes about by relatively small amounts of a relatively large number of people. The projects are offered on online platforms and crowd-fund investors to invest in various projects. When you are a start-up in the preliminary stage, so just before or just after launching, you are most of the time looking for capital. Capital to develop or promote your concept. You can for example choose for angel-investment, venture capital or crowdfunding. Crowdfunding is suitable for companies in any phase, whether it are startups or existing companies. But the possibilities (and potential) of crowdfunding for startups are often underestimated. This workshop gives you insights in the advantages of crowdfunding.
